Apatosaurus
Confusions involving the discovery of this dinosaur. Chevron bones on the caudal vertebrae resembled those of marine lizards. Later on, the wrong skull was once attached to an apatosaurus skeleton, thus a "new" species was born: brontosaurus. Its greek name means deceptive lizard.
